NMV Juniors
The NMV Juniors team encourages international school students to join us on a museum adventure!
Our key activity is a Treasure Hunt for children aged 8 to 12 years old.
It is offered in English, German and French.
The NMV Juniors Treasure Hunt allows children to discover some key exhibits within the Museum’s extensive collection. They will explore in small groups, following clues and a map, until they discover each featured piece. On arrival, a specially trained guide will introduce the students to the main themes and historical context of the treasure. Before moving on to search for the next item, the guide will invite the children to participate in a hands-on activity to ensure their museum experience is fun and interactive.
NMV Juniors Treasure Hunt takes about 1.5 hours to two hours to finish.
The Treasure Hunt is ideal for international schools wishing to complement their curriculum. It serves as an effective introduction to Thai history, culture, art and religion. It helps promote the students’ appreciation of the diverse cultural heritage of Thailand, and their understanding of key historical periods. The Treasure Hunt is in the form of a game, since we believe having fun in a museum is the best way for a child to learn.
The NMV Juniors would be delighted to welcome you to this wonderful museum and organize a truly memorable excursion for your students. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information for your school or your teachers.
